     In 2014 St. Bernadette School was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a 2014 National Blue Ribbon School!

     Nation-wide, 337 schools were recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School for 2014 based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. St. Bernadette School was one of only 50 Non-Public schools in the Nation and the only Catholic School in New England to receive this honor and was recognized as an “Exemplary High Performing School".

     We are proud of the high level of commitment shown by our faculty, students, families and parishioners to our mission and are honored to be recognized on a national level.

Is this a big deal? 

Absolutely!  In order to even apply for the Blue Ribbon Award your school's Standardized Test scores must be in the top 15% in the country for 5 years in a row.

Once you qualify with your test scores you are ranked in several other areas including academic excellence, curriculum, instructional methods, professional development, school leadership, and family and community involvement.  This award is a reflection of the school's leadership, caring and hardworking faculty and staff and our students and their families sacrifice and commitment to Catholic education.
