Sadlier; A Faith-Development Program for Five-Year-Olds, Discovering God’s Love" The Discovering God Program seeks to introduce the preschool child to the Catholic community’s life of faith in many ways. While developing a child’s human resources, it presents the faith in a language that the young child can understand. Presenting human life as a gift of God, the program engages the child’s senses in incremental experiences of God, the gift of his Son, Jesus, the gifts of family, Catholic community, Scripture, sacraments, and prayer. Accompanying activities and other pages sent home reinforce the home/school connections.

Abrams and Company, "The Land of the Letter People" “The Land of the Letter People” by Abrams and Company introduces each alphabet letter with a puppet and song. This thematically organized program develops print awareness, alphabetic knowledge, oral language and listening skills, vocabulary development, writing and spelling as well as focusing on math and science concepts through the “Big Books “series. This program is designed to help ease children into language learning and literacy at the Pre-kindergarten level through sequential activities that introduce and reinforce listening skills, letter recognition, and a few common sight words, referred to as Everyday Words. With the use of puppets, each Letter Person represents a sound or sounds in the alphabet, as well as teaching many aspects of math, science and social studies. "Handwriting Without Tears", a formal program developed by an occupational therapist to develop pre-writing and writing skills for young children, is also used as a supplemental handwriting program

Math
Mathematics helps young children make sense of the world around them and understand their physical world. Children are inclined to make comparisons, notice similarities and differences in objects and group their toys and materials. The ability to organize information into categories, quantify data and solve problems helps children to learn about time, space and numbers. When children play in the sandbox, cook applesauce and complete a puzzle, they are engaging in activities that allow them to develop the thinking skills that are naturally used in daily life. Children learn the uses of mathematics to describe and explore relationships among objects and materials in the environment. They increasingly develop the vocabulary and skills to measure, describe patterns and to express order and position. "Abrams and Company", focuses on math concepts through the “Big Books “series. Touch Math is also used as a supplemental curriculum. It utilizes a multisensory approach and sequential strategies to improve student math comprehension and mastery.

Science
Children are captivated by the natural world and by physical events. They insist that teachers and family members answer their questions about the world around them. By cultivating this sense of wonder, we help children to become scientific thinkers. Children can learn to use the scientific method in their everyday life. The questions that children ask about insects flying, making a shadow or mixing paints are transformed into hypotheses about their world. They use their senses and scientific tools to observe, collect and interpret data and draw conclusions. Communicating their findings informally in conversations, or through the documentation of results, leads children to ask new questions and to continue the cycle of scientific investigation.
