Your Donation Means So Much...

  • 2023-2024 Annual Fund

We hope the St. Bernadette School Annual Fund letter finds you well. Each year, St.
Bernadette School raises funds to help bridge the gap between tuition and the cost to educate each
student. The Annual Fund is important as it provides the resources necessary to fulfill our mission.

The mission of Saint Bernadette School is deeply rooted in firm Catholic beliefs and traditions.
We are committed to providing a high-quality education that develops the intellect, inspires the spirit,
and guides students to do what is right and just.  In partnership with the Church and family, we
encourage our students to exemplify Christian values and to become life-long learners.

In order to provide a high-quality education, St. Bernadette school is steadfast in keeping pace
with the rapidly changing technological advances in education. Throughout the 2023-2024 school year,
St. Bernadette School has been enhancing its Science Technology Engineering and Math opportunities
for both teachers and students. A newly created STEM Lab hosts a myriad of hands-on creative
technologies including a competition grade Lego Robotics table. In December St. Bernadette School, led
by Mrs. DeAngelis, our media teacher, sent three teams to participate in the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Lego League Competition.

Other exciting aspects of the STEM lab include four lab tables with built in outlets which will be
used for a Cricut creative space, an engineering station and a physical computing area for coding where
students will use micro:bit and Makey Makey products.  Furthermore, St. Bernadette School has added
forty-two new Google Chromebooks along with a mobile charging station. These tablets are available to
any teacher who wishes to utilize them for class projects and instruction.

In addition to providing a high-quality education, St. Bernadette School continues to foster
students’ commitment to community engagement. For example, on the first Friday of every month,
middle school students help serve dinner to those in need at the Pearl Street Café in Framingham. Also,
students have raised funds and awareness for the Sterling, MA Animal Shelter, the Northborough Food
Pantry Thanksgiving Collection, and the Convent of St. Clare of Assisi in Corozal, Columbia which is in
dire need of renewable energy for continued operation. Each day as students pray to St. Bernadette,
our Patron Saint, they are reminded that through prayer and humility they should always be mindful of
the needs of others, especially those whose needs are greater than their own.

Today and throughout the year, as you reflect on what you are grateful for, we are asking that
you consider making a gift to the St. Bernadette School Annual Fund. Every gift counts and allows us to
continue to live our mission while providing a challenging education which combines rigorous academic
standards with a strong spiritual foundation. The gift of education is forever. Your tax-deductible
donation is more than a check; it is a commitment to your faith in Catholic schools.

Thank you and may God bless your family.
