The 2025-2026 school year will officially begin on Wednesday, August 27th with the
return of students in Grades 1-8 students.

All students will enter through the front door of the main school building and go directly to their classrooms. Faculty members from the Sr. Marguerite Timothy Young, SND Early Childhood Center (ECC) and additional staff members will be in the main corridor to greet students and assist students in guiding them to their classrooms.
     Each morning our administrative team, faculty, and staff will join in morning prayer
together before we begin our day. We ask for your patience as they make their way to their assigned duty spots each day.

     Class/homeroom assignments for students will be sent in a separate email. Please
continue reading for additional important information. We have made every attempt to be informative to assist in planning for the coming school year.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
     The following arrival and dismissal procedures will be in place for the new school year.
     Doors will open at 7:40 am. Parents of ECC students may choose to use the valet drop-off service alongside the ECC or walk their children to the front door facing the Church where a staff member will escort your child to their classroom. Again, as previously stated, students may be dropped off between 7:40 and 8:10 am. Morning prayer and announcements begin at 8:15 and classes begin at 8:20. Students arriving after 8:15 will be marked tardy.
     Walkie talkies and family name plates will be used to assist with dismissal. New visor name plates for all families, new and returning, will be distributed in the first weeks of school.  Families are asked to use a sheet of paper displaying the student’s last name on the visor until the new name plates are distributed. Parents picking up from the front doors of the ECC building should wait for their child to be sent out to them and escort their child(ren) directly to their cars.

Dismissal Procedures will work as follows:
     · All single students in the main school building will be dismissed from the upper lobby at all times. Parents will remain in their cars and form a car line beginning in front of the main building. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE PASTORAL CENTER AND DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 2:30pm.
     · All siblings and carpool students will be dismissed from the Charbonneau Center
(lower parking lot - enter from Bartlett St.) at all times regardless of whether a sibling or carpool student is absent.
     · ECC students with siblings in the main building or who are carpooling with students in the main building will be dismissed from the Charbonneau Center. All other ECC students will be dismissed from the ECC.
     · When you receive the nameplate, please make sure that the school bus graphic (with your child’s last name) is hanging from your visor.  
     · In the lower lot, parents will be directed into four lanes for pick-up. Please follow the directions of the parking lot helpers and use all 4 lanes.  Students will be dismissed from the front of the lanes to the back. Please do not exit your car. Students will be escorted to the car by school staff members.

Extended Day:
     Registration is now open. If you find that you need extended care during the school year, you may register at any time.

Busses:
     A bus will be provided for residents of Northborough. All transportation protocols that have been developed by the Town of Northborough will be followed and can be found on the Northborough Public Schools website: https://www.nsboro.k12.ma.us.
