Welcome to St. Bernadette Basketball!

We have both boys and girls teams for grades 5-8.  

Boys Grades 5-8

Our boys’ teams, Grades 5-8, play in the St Mary School Boys League.

Girls Grades 5-6

Our girls' teams, Grades 5-6, play in the St. Bernadette Girls League

Girls Grades 7-8

Our girls’ teams, Grades 7-8,  play in the Venerini Academy Girls League

 All teams are coached by our experienced parent volunteers.

Preparing for the upcoming season

There are a few things you as parents can do beforehand to speed up the sign up process.  Go to  the "Helpful Links" on this page and download, print and fill out the "Pre-participation", "Concussion" and the "Basketball Release" forms. 

Also, if you could make sure your son or daughter has a physical on file with the school nurse.  Students will be required to get the athletic physical form signed off on by the nurse in order to be eligible to practice.  They need to do this even if they already did it for Cross Country.  Each new  season they need to be cleared.   

Sign up forms are posted on the bulletin board in the gym.  If your son or daughter has interest, please have them put down their name.  It is absolutely fine if we get further down the line and you or they figure out they can't participate. There are no "cuts".   

Practices will start the week of November 4th, with games starting the first week in December.
