• The Arts at St. Bernadette School

The Art Program at St. Bernadette School is designed to provide students with an opportunity to develop their artistic skills, encouraging creativity by exposing them to a wide variety of art forms, materials and techniques.  Our curriculum integrates academics into its lesson whether it be history, math religion, literature or science while following an artistic regiment that is beneficial to promoting the creativity of a young mind.  Students explore weaving, sculpture, print making, painting, drawing and mixed media projects.  As a community we believe that the arts are essential to stimulation creativity and developing innovative thinkers.  This is affirmed in our annual Arts Night where we come together as a community to support and celebrate the importance of art.

Students in grades 1-8 have Art Class every week.  Arts Night is a culmination of projects from every grade level.  Parents and guest walk through the school and view the many artworks.  In the Charbonneau Center our Choir and the school band perform for all of our guests.  Guests are also treated to a sneak peak at our upcoming Spring Play.  Definitely an enjoyable evening for all!
