Trip to New York City

Every year Mrs. Morin accompanies the 7th grade to New York City.  A fun packed day of touring, ferry rides and interesting people and places!

A classroom project by Grade 8.  After participating in a Discovery Education "Virtual Viewing Party" about Pearl Harbor and hearing our principal, Mrs. O'Neil's story about her father's involvement at Pearl Harbor, the students were assigned a mini-project about Pearl Harbor.  The project was a combination of two Discovery Education Network Strategies; The first, "6 Word Story", calls for students to summarize an event in just 6 words.  The second; "Paper Slides Videos", required students to film their "6 Word Story" in just one take without editing.  This is one of the projects.
