September 28 - Bible Blessing for Grades 7&8 following 8:30am Mass. *Note: Parents may attend 8:30 Mass and remain for the Bible Blessing.
There will not be a separate reception at the school.

Please remember to:
Call the front office with any absence and state a reason for your child's absence.
Send extra masks with your children each day
Check email daily as this will be our way of communicating important information such as classroom quarantine/closure, etc.
When returning to school after an illness, please: escort your child to the main lobby where Ms. Avery will call one of the nurses who will clear your child/ren for school and collect any requested documentation.

St. Bernadette School Altar Servers
Fr. Falco, Pastor of St. Bernadette Parish and Headmaster of St. Bernadette School, has asked that we forward this letter from Mr. Chuck Dinovo, Coordinator of Altar Servers for St. Bernadette Parish. Most of the students who have served the school as altar servers in the past have graduated and we are in need of students to fill the role for school liturgies.
Homework Club is an after school club that gives students the chance to complete homework with teacher supervision.
It will run Monday-Thursday from 3:00-4:15 in the following teachers' rooms:
Monday: Mrs. Smith
Tuesday: Mrs. Reade
Wednesday: Mrs. Neville
Thursday: Ms. Burtch Students will be brought downstairs to the gym lobby (lower parking lot) promptly at 4:15 PM for parent pick-up. Any student who is not picked up by 4:15 will go to Extended Day and will be charged an additional fee.
If your child will not be picked up by a parent please send us a note for dismissal procedures
Homework Club is open to students in Grades 4-8 only.
The cost is $5.00/day, per child (Cash Only!). Payment is due that day.
Students may bring a small snack to eat.
Drop-ins welcome! Please just send an email or note that day so that your child's teacher knows to send them to Homework Club on that day.
***Please note that this program is not considered a part of extended day and all payments need to be made separately and in cash to the teacher(s).
6 Week program, Thursdays beginning Sept. 30
3:15 - 4:15 pm
Sewing is fun! In this class you will learn the basics of the sewing machine (including safety!) as well as some different hand stitches. You will use your new skills to sew some creative projects including a backpack, stuffed koala and eagle. Each project will take about 2 -3 classes to complete. Come see what you can sew!
10 Week Program, Mondays Sept. 27 - Dec. 6 (no class 10/11)

Join Chess Wizards for challenging lessons, exciting tournaments, fun team activities and more!
If you are brand new to Chess we will teach you the basics and get you playing in no time! If you are a seasoned checkmate artist we'll show you new ways to let your creativity loose on the board!
If he/she is in fourth grade through eighth grade, come and sing with the choir! We rehearse in the church from 3:15 to 4:15 every Tuesday afternoon. No prior experience needed! At dismissal we will meet in the Charbonneau Center for a short snack, and then we will walk over to the church.
For those parents who pick up their students from the UPPER LOT in the afternoon, please DO NOT BLOCK the driveway of the Antique dealer on Rte. 20 as his customers are not able to access the lot. Thank you!
