Spirituality, Excellence, Academics and Service
St. Bernadette School is a private, Catholic preschool, elementary school and middle school (PK - 8) located in Central Massachusetts. Steeped in a traditional Catholic environment, the school is committed to academic excellence and faith development. We are fully accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). St. Bernadette School is a faith based community which believes in the sanctity and worth of every student. In partnership with parents and guardians, we strive to prepare children to be successful citizens of the world and to carry forth the traditions of the Catholic Church. We encourage and nurture students to develop a lifelong love of learning, to realize their highest personal and academic potential all while allowing their faith to be the primary guidepost. At St. Bernadette School students strive to make a difference through Spirituality, Excellence, Academics and Service.
Digital Appropriate Use Reminder
The following reminder has been shared with all Catholic schools in the Diocese of Worcester and administrators have been encouraged to send this reminder to all families:
When using a remote learning tool through the use of video communication, it is important that we continue to respect the privacy and intellectual property rights of our school community – our teachers and our students. By participating in remote learning all students agree that they may not save, record, share, or post learning sessions or any photos from learning sessions. The rules in school apply to this remote classroom experience. Students must treat each other with respect during sessions and when utilizing DVL together. Students must obey school rules.
Thank you for complying with this policy.
Important Message - School Closure
St. Bernadette School will be closed through Monday, May 4 in keeping with the public school district and the recent mandate from Governor Charlie Baker. The teachers will implement digital-virtual learning using the Seesaw or Google Classroom platform that all families were notified will be utilized at each grade-level. Future communications will be sent through ConnectEd, Mailchimp and posted to Facebook.
O God, whose Only Begotten Son bore the weight of human suffering
for our salvation, hear the prayers of your Church
for our sick brothers and sisters
and deliver us from this time of trial.
Open our ears and our hearts to the voice of your Son:
Be not afraid, for I am with you always.
Bless all doctors and nurses, researchers and public servants;
give us the wisdom to do what is right and the faith to endure this hour,
that we might gather once again to praise your name in the heart of your Church, delivered from all distress and confident in your mercy.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen
Let us remember that as we continue our journey through Lent and the Resurrection of Christ, He is with us.
