Summer Program
Each Summer, St. Bernadette School offers both an Academic Enrichment Program and a Recreational Program.

In July 2011, the Academic Enrichment Program had morning offerings for those entering grades 5-8 in the Fall. These courses included Skateboard Science, Game Factory, Open Studio, and Fudge Factory and offer creative and fun ways to add enrichment to math, science, art, language arts, and even organizational skills.
There was also be a special Math preparation course called “Ready, Set, Saxon” for those entering grade 4.
St. Bernadette School’s Summer Recreational Program runs from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm and is open to those entering PreK4 – grade 8 in the Fall. Weekly activities include on-site visitors, water play, arts & crafts, and outdoor fun. On-site activities, including Mike the Bubble Man, Animal Adventures, Clay Times, and a Magic Show, will be scheduled weekly for all to enjoy. Those in grades 2-8 will also enjoy off-site field trips throughout the summer to such places as the Ecotarium, Southwick Zoo, and Mega Maze. For older students, we will incorporate their summer reading assignments into the daily schedule. You can sign up for select days or by the week. Those attending the morning Academic Enrichment program may also join the recreational program after 12:00.
