REMINDER:

Each of your children is not only precious to you but to all of us.  Morning drop off and afternoon pickup are the most critical times when we must remember to practice patience and safety when entering and leaving St. Bernadette Parish property.  Unfortunately, some people assume that they can  simply drive around children rather than waiting until the child safely passes from their parent’s car tothe school buildings.  We appreciate those of you who model appropriate behavior and cautions those who don’t.

MORNING DROP-OFF REMINDER

All children & parents must walk in the designated coned lanes. Please do not use the crosswalk that crosses the parking lot between the front & back parking sections. It is much too dangerous to have to cross the line of oncoming traffic. If you are coming from the lower lot, please cross with the assistance of the parent
directing traffic on the corner – do not walk on the church side. Please follow the rules – they are designed for the children’s safety!! There is NO LEFT TURN as you exit the parking lot in the morning. Please turn right and then turn left at the lights. Thank you!

PARENT VOLUNTEERS

As required by the Diocese of Worcester, all parents who wish to volunteer in the school must complete four
steps prior to volunteering: 1) complete a CORI Form; 2) return CORI form in person with copy of Driver’s
license to school office; 3) attend a Safe Environment Workshop, 4) submit a signed Code of Ministerial
Conduct Form. This form is included in your Family Envelope today. Please complete and return the Code of
Ministerial Conduct form to the School Office as soon as possible even if you have signed one in the past. At
this time CORI forms are good for 5 years and only one workshop attendance is required in order to volunteer. Thank you very much.
