We are pleased to welcome you to the St. Bernadette School Website.

In the fall of 1996 a preschool and daycare program, Guardians Angels, was opened in the St. Bernadette Parish Pastoral Center.  There were approximately 25 children enrolled.  Due to the enthusiastic interest of parishioners and families in the Metrowest area of the Worcester Diocese, it was determined that Guardian Angels would expand to include grades K-3.  In the 1997-1998 academic year the school expanded further to include its present configuration of grades PK3-8 and two buildings were constructed to accommodate an enrollment of 500 students.

St. Bernadette School is founded on the belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  As disciples of Jesus, as members of his holy Catholic Church, we pledge our commitment to teaching the values of the Gospel each and every day.  As a Catholic School, it is our sacred responsibility to our students to provide an atmosphere of love of God and a deep respect for the dignity of all persons within the school community and beyond.

We integrate the guidelines of the Catechism of the Catholic Church in our daily mission to proclaim the Gospel.  Our faculty, staff, and administration are committed to this teaching, serving our community as Christian role models in humility and service to all.  In this way, our school is an experience of the Church’s belief and tradition as members of the body of Christ.

Students are taught to recognize the presence of Christ in themselves and in others.  This reverence for people permeates all aspects of school life.  Focused on the fullness of the Catholic faith, our students develop a personal love for Christ and the Church, and in doing so, students are encouraged to live their faith embodied in this year’s theme:

“St. Bernadette School: Character, Compassion, and Values.”

The St. Bernadette School is an integral part of the Church’s mission to proclaim the Gospel, build up the faith of our members, celebrate the truth of Christ, especially in the Most Holy Eucharist, and in our service to others.

We hope that you will enjoy your visit to our website!

Sincerely,
Deborah O'Neil
