Curriculum Maps

Curriculum Mapping is a concrete way to plan, collaborate and communicate core teaching and learning plans. Curriculum is a story; it is the text of the classroom. Mapping is the process that allows teachers to look at their curriculum in a calendar-based structure and identify the specific content (What students need to know?) and skills (What students should be able to do?) to be learned.
The Curriculum Maps included here are designed as a broad outline of the core content of the St. Bernadette School program. The maps are not stagnant nor are they definitive of the program which is continually expanded and enhanced. Rather, the curriculum maps presented here serve as a broad outline, a spiraling account of the many strands that comprise the rigorous academic program presented across grade levels by our highly skilled professional staff.
