6th Grade Social Studies
During the first term, the 6th graders will be studying geography. We will focus on the 5 Themes of Geography. These themes include location, region, place, movement and human-environmental interaction. We will use these themes in order to gain a better understanding of the world around us.
7th Grade Social Studies
The 7th graders will be spending their year focusing on the Early History of America. During the first term, we will discuss how and why the colonies were established and what drove the colonists to fight for their independence.

8th Grade Social Studies
The 8th graders have the unique advantage of “picking up” right where they left off at the end of their 7th grade experience. We will be spending the first term discussing the Industrial Revolution and the positive effect it had on the economics of America.
