My teaching assignments at Saint Bernadette Catholic School involve grades 6 through 8 Mathematics. The Math program is quite aggressive, challenging and competitive. Sixth and seventh grade students are required to do extensive work and to seriously study the fundamentals of Mathematics in the process of developing strong mathematical concepts and skills, which will ultimately place these students into our cutting edge Honor’s Algebra course in grade 8. This Honor’s Algebra Course is the full equivalent of any ninth grade honor’s level Algebra course in the area. Saint Bernadette Catholic School also offers a solid grade 8 Mathematics course that broadens our students’ knowledge base in an exhaustive number of mathematical topics, which include Algebra, but does not emphasize it for the entire year.
We have experienced great success in the placement of our graduates into their respective high school Math courses. Saint Bernadette Catholic School graduates are a proud and confident group!
