| Fourth graders are becoming more aware of God’s presence as they develop relationships with others. Forming personal values and beliefs is important as they strive to become independent.
The fourth grade text focuses on the Commandments and the Beatitudes. The five units of study are: 1. The Goodness of God, 2. Jesus is the Son of God, 3. The Holy Spirit, 4. The Church, and 5. Social Justice. |
We are beginning a new and very exciting hands-on curriculum this year. The fourth graders will study key events, chronology, patterns, and themes of our country’s history. The history atlas is divided into seven units, one on skills and six on history. The unit titles are: 1. Atlas, Map, Globe Skills, 2. Three Worlds Meet, 3. Colonial America, 4. A New Nation, 5. The United States Expands, 6. Civil War and Change, 7. Modern America. |
