What Makes Us Special in 3B?!?! (Written by 3B students)
Our class is special because we are all good friends. ~ Emily I think our class is special because we are all special and very interesting. ~ Marislena Our class is special because we learn. ~Aaron Our class is special because we are nice to each other. ~Connor Our class is special because we all work together and we are all special in our own way. ~Madison

Our Daily schedule:
8:30-9:07- Reading 9:07-9:54- Special (except for Monday-Gym and Thursday- Computers) 9:55-10:15- Finish Reading or work on Vocabulary 10:15-10:30- Recess 10:30-11:30- Math 11:30-12:15- Language Arts 12:15-1:00- Lunch and Recess 1:10-1:30- Read Aloud 1:30-2:05- Religion 2:05-2:35- Science on Monday and Wednesday Social Studies on Thursday and Friday Special Schedule Monday- Gym Tuesday- Library and Art Wednesday-Spanish Thursday- Computers Friday- Music

Some of the skills your child will learn this year are:
-Reading skills -Comprehension skills -Critical thinking skills -Three and Four Digit addition and subtraction -Multiplication 0-12 -Division with and without remainders -Fractions -Vocabulary- definitions, parts of speech, synonyms and antonyms -Grammar skills -Poetry -Different types of writing -Sacraments -Parts of the Mass -Water and sea creatures -Energy -Plants and Animals and their habitats -Current events -Government

Reminders:
Vocabulary: First Friday of the list is the Spelling test. Second Friday of the list is the Vocabulary test.

Homework:
Your child should be reading every night for twenty minutes. His/Her completed reading log is due EVERYDAY. Your child will also have two other assignments for homework on most nights.
