My homework policy is:

Children are to return their red homework folder to class every day, even if they have no homework to pass in.  All of the papers that are to go home at the end of each day will be put into the folder and taken home.  In that folder there is also a weekly homework sheet and a weekly reading log that need to stay in the folder all week.  On the front of the fold there are monthly calendars that will have stickers for homework passed in and notes for homework not received.  If a child does not pass in homework on the date due they can bring it in the following day.  If a child is absent they will be given an appropriate amount time to complete missed homework and work.
